I bought this for my Hutchen's flute and this does a very bad job of cleaning the flute. All the moisture naturally gets redistributed throughout the distance of the flute! The material on this flute cleaner is Not At All absorbent. I incredible it to suck up the moisture immediately on contact, since that would be the only good way to clean a flute. I'm a flute newbie and this is disappointing. I have read on other reviews that it's best to use a cleaning rod with a cleaning cloth, so I will buy those and see how that works out.
